October is the Breast Cancer Awareness month.

As a contribute to this cause, 30% of the price of this necklace will be donated to the "Lega Italiana per la Lotta Contro i Tumori" (Italian league to struggle against Cancer), here http://www.legatumori.it/fundraising/donazione.php (I will donate after the end of this month too, if purchased later than that, and i will send the buyer a copy of my receipt).

Mystery beads!

Yesterday I've bought 3 strands of amazing beads, at a local store here in Naples..
I'm still admiring the beauty of these rose quartzs and amethystes, and I'm daydreaming of all the wonderful necklaces and earrings I could make with them!

One thing I don't remember: I've bought these awesome strand of orangey gemstones for my mum, to make her a necklace, but I've forgotten what the name of this stone is.. anyone know??

Still Obsessed by Orchids

Fine Art Print 12''x8''

A few days ago my mother came home holding this wonderful Orchid plant (a phalaenopsis), to replace the one that died this winter for the cold cold temperature..
Of course, the first thing i've done was to take gazillions of pictures of it! I'm so afraid to make this one die too!

I'm kinda obsessed with orchids, so i've made up an etsy mini with some items of fellow etsy sellers featuring all kind of orchids!! :D

Being not video-editing savvy, I was wondering how to make a slideshow without having to learn to use difficult programs and without wasting too much time..

.. Then I found animoto and managed to create the slideshow you see here in an effortless and fun way: you just upload your photos (better if fewer than 15) and add some music.. and .. well, you're done!!!

The blank page has always scared me a lot as a student, and still does now.

That's one of the reasons why I've started taking photographs to express my inner self and to modify them until I reached the image I had in my mind.
That's also the reason why this could be one of the very very few written posts :)

I'm an architecture student, in love with photography and digital art since the first time i've looked thru my old Nikon 5400..

I'm starting this new blog project with a few intents:

to show some of my photography, get some nice feedback and improve my skills;
to showcase some amazing talents i've come in contact with in my Etsy.com experience;
to post useful tutorials, made by me or by others, on photography, crafts or diy projects.

Hope you'll follow me with interest and excuse my bad english :D
